Network situations as per §13.2
German Energy Industry Act
Actual measures §13.2 EnWG
To rectify a problem with, or a threat to, uninterrupted supply, network or market-related measures such as Redispatch and Countertrading are employed (§13.1 of German Energy Industry Act). If these measures are not sufficient, further measures must be taken to avoid or rectify a threat to, or problem with, system safety. The network provider is then entitled and obligated to adapt power inputs (regeneration and conventional), readouts (load shedding) and power transmission (§13.2 of German Energy Industry Act).
