In this way, the government and the wind industry, in close cooperation with the grid operator, make it possible to keep the energy transition affordable. Offshore electricity grid Hollandse Kust (zuid)
The wind farms in lots III and IV will be connected to the offshore platform Hollandse Kust (south) Beta by means of the standardized concept based on 700MW AC technology. TenneT designed this concept in close consultation with the wind farm developers. The delivery date for this part of the offshore grid was set by the Ministry of Economic Affairs at 31 March 2022.
The irrevocable permits for the route of the transport cables to Maasvlakte Noord have been granted. The tenders for the sea and land cables and the platform were also awarded.
