We are primarily tasked with providing power transmission services, system services and facilitating the energy market. Our core tasks follow from our appointment as grid operator under the Dutch 'Elektriciteitswet' (E-wet) and the German 'Energiewirtschaftsgesetz' (EnWG).
We have long-term ambitions for society, diversity and safety, each of which is connected to a specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). The tables below show how our sustainable development is both transparent and measurable. Unless stated otherwise, the following tables show aggregated data for the Netherlands and Germany.
We address our stakeholders’ concerns by living up to our values - by being responsible, engaged and connected. We contribute to SDG 9 by delivering quality as well as reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure for all.

We are committed to the environment, which means we minimise and compensate for our impact on the planet wherever possible.
